The Hong Kong Federation of the Blind was established in 1972. It is a charitable and self-help organization composed of people with visual impairments and recognized by the government. With the spirit of mutual self-help at its core, the organization unites individuals with visual impairments and works to secure equal opportunities for them in education, employment, and social welfare. It also provides diversified rehabilitation support services for people with visual impairments. Please select the quantity of mini mooncakes you wish to donate. We invite you to donate mooncakes through Orbis and extend your festive wishes to every corner of the community - bringing more comfort and care to those in need this Mid-Autumn Festival. The Hong Kong Single Parents Association (HKSPA), established in 1991, is a registered non-profit organisation supporting single-parent families and those in need. Guided by the motto "Strengthen Ourselves, Help Ourselves, then Help Others," it provides emotional, employment, educational, and legal support to help families overcome challenges and reintegrate into society. Operating through 7 service centres, HKSPA offers key services including: the Single Parent Mental Health Programme, Support Hotline, Grassroots Family Support, Employment Support, Child Care Project, and Divorce Family Counselling. The Association actively promotes co-parenting education, moral development for single-parent children, and support for children from disadvantaged families. HKSPA also researches single-parent policies and advocates for greater government attention to their needs, while enhancing public understanding and acceptance of single-parent families.
