Beyond its global mission to fight blindness, Orbis is also deeply committed to supporting our local community. This year, we continue to partner with local charities to launch the Mooncake Donation Program, sharing the warmth and joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival with underprivileged groups. We invite you to donate mooncakes through Orbis and extend your festive wishes to every corner of the community - bringing more comfort and care to those in need this Mid-Autumn Festival. Hong Kong Blind Union (HKBU) was established in 1964. It is the first self-help group organized and managed by people with visual impairment. It aims at promoting the spirit of self-help and mutual-help as well as striving for equality, opportunities and independence for visually impaired persons. HKBU provides comprehensive services for the newly blind, life adjustment programmes, education, employment, audio description for sport programmes and advocacy for the visually impaired in Hong Kong.
