Since 1987, Saint Barnabas' Society and Home aims to create a caring community. It provides a wide range of services to support the poor and homeless. Those in need can receive food, material aids, and counseling assistance. They organize a variety of activities for Our Users. They also go out to the community with volunteers. Kids Learner Centre is a center for nurturing underprivileged children, focusing on development of life skills and realizing personal potential that will create an impact on Hong Kong in the long run. The Hong Kong Single Parents Association (HKSPA), established in 1991, is a registered non-profit organisation supporting single-parent families and those in need. Guided by the motto "Strengthen Ourselves, Help Ourselves, then Help Others," it provides emotional, employment, educational, and legal support to help families overcome challenges and reintegrate into society. Operating through 7 service centres, HKSPA offers key services including: the Single Parent Mental Health Programme, Support Hotline, Grassroots Family Support, Employment Support, Child Care Project, and Divorce Family Counselling. The Association actively promotes co-parenting education, moral development for single-parent children, and support for children from disadvantaged families. HKSPA also researches single-parent policies and advocates for greater government attention to their needs, while enhancing public understanding and acceptance of single-parent families.
